Volunteer Driver Program

Volunteer drivers provide critical transportation for our riders. Coastal Trans, Inc. is always looking for Volunteer Drivers to transport adults and children to medical appointments and other services and programs throughout the state of Maine.

If you are at least 21 years old, are interested in helping others, and have a reliable car, you can receive tax-free mileage reimbursement for your service to others. All applicants are required to pass back ground checks through the Maine Department of Motor Vehicles, State Bureau of Identification, and the Department of Human Services.

Our volunteer drivers receive discounts on AAA memberships, free oil changes, and other rewards for helping us help others.
